The Feuerstein, in the Pflerschtal Valley in South Tyrol, offers everything for families looking for a hassle free, action packed getaway year round. The list of amazing facilities is honestly endless with family fun at the forefront, Feuerstein’s four heated swimming pools are a huge hit. A painting studio, indoor sandpit and play barn complete with dressing up area and hayloft for jumping into provide endless fun, a climbing wall and mud room keep kids entertained for hours. A gorgeous stone pine sauna along with a purifying steam bath and an adults only mountain spa to keep adults looking and feeling their best safe in the knowledge children are having the times of their lives under the best supervision. They even have an Equestrian Centre, whether it is pony riding, trial lessons, private lessons or horseback rides their beautiful horses always play the leading role in all of these activities and in winter, you can ride in the heated riding hall.

When travelling with children up to 2 years of age, you will be provided with a baby cot in your room. In addition, you can rent the following equipment: Changing mat, nappy pail, potty, toilet seat insert, baby bathtub, baby monitor, kettle and bottle warmer.

All bunk beds are equipped with a fall-out protection and their rooms all have a room darkening system with roller blinds and curtains to ensure kids can stay in their routine and not wake you too early.

Child carers are available for up to 70 hours a week, taking care of children aged 0 to 16. The resort stays true to the philosophy of Maria Montessori and focus on authentic experiences as well as on meaningful learning activities.

  • Dining – The Feuerstein luxury board includes breakfast, lunch, an afternoon buffet as well as a 5-course evening menu. Beverages for breakfast are included in the price, as are water and juices for children at the drinks station at the buffet. Any further additional drinks may be directly charged to your room. Their food is based on conscious indulgence, as the fresh, seasonal and local ingredients are processed with both intuition and devotion in mind by head chef Tina Marcelli.   • Accommodation: The Feuerstein Nature Family Resort has a total of 80 rooms and twelve chalets for large families or groups. 

  • Getting there: The resort can organise a shuttle service from and to the airport in Innsbruck, Austria. This service costs 160 € per journey.

  • Restaurants: The newly designed dining rooms provide a proper setting to enjoy the passionately created dishes in a classy and timeless atmosphere, enhanced by high-quality details. Underneath a golden decorated ceiling, the welcoming and sophisticated ambience also provides enough space for high chairs, Lego forks and bibs. Dining becomes a delight as relaxed as luxurious.
